ABOUT US
In January 2023, Christine and Shauna founded Brookside Medical Home Visits after witnessing the impact of COVID-19 on the wound care industry. They identified a need for mobile advanced wound care services to assist clients who were unable to visit regional wound centers. Since launching the business, they have expanded their services to include wound rounding in healthcare facilities and providing primary care services to independent living facilities. Brookside Medical is currently active in Indiana, Ohio, Tennessee, Mississippi, Michigan, and Alaska, with plans to continue expanding to others states.
SHAUNA POE
Shauna Poe is from Clay City, IN. She has been a nurse for 36 years and a Nurse Practitioner for the last 20 years. Shauna has experience in Emergency Medicine, Urgent Care, and Family Practice and has specialized in Advanced Wound Care since 2023. She is WCC certified.
CHRISTINE POE
Christine Poe is from Noblesville, IN. She has been a nurse for 34 years and has served as a Nurse Practitioner for the last 25 years. She has expertise in Cardiology and Geriatric Medicine and has specialized in Advanced Wound Care since 2010. She is also WCC certified.
